Holidays are a blast now that you understand what's going on. The first words out of your mouth this morning were, "Did the Easter Bunny come?" He did, of course, and brought you a Lightning McQueen Easter basket (I mean really, what signifies Christ's resurrection more appropriately than a Disney race car basket?) filled with markers, stickers, Play-Doh, jelly beans, and chocolate eggs. And grass. You really liked the plastic grass. We also decorated eggs, planted flowers, went to the park, blew bubbles, grilled hot dogs, and had an Easter egg hunt!
Here you are dyeing and finding eggs. You'll have to excuse the state of our lawn--March 2010 brought record flooding to our little town, leaving us with a lot of cleanup work to do. Also, I made Daddy use organic fertilizer on the backyard last year, which apparently doesn't work very well!
Look at the bright side, the few clumps of grass that actually grew made for good Easter Egg hiding places for the Bunny.
