Awww

I recently watched a tv character describe how a child can suck everything out of a parent. I can't disagree completely--a child sucks away sleep, energy, money, time, sanity, personal hygiene, self-confidence, patience, IQ points--I could go on and on!

But God knows what he's doing, because he gave that exact same child the ability to fill a person to the brim with love and contentment in a single moment. Conveniently, this makes one forget about the sleep and showers she is missing out on. This conversation between you and Daddy was your latest "fill 'er up" moment:

Daddy: "We're lucky, because your Mommy is the best cook in town."
You: "No Daddy. Mommy is the best PERSON in town!"
