First 50 Words

The time has (unfortunately, for me) come when I need to watch my mouth around you. You are like a little parrot, picking up new words every day! I, with the help of your Mamo and Granddaddy (who are visiting during what I hope will be their annual month-long summer trek to see you...they would chime in, "and we're here to see Mommy too," but really they're here to see you), have compiled a list of your first 50 words. Some of them are coined by you, but most of them are the real deal. It is crazy, on your first birthday you knew about 10 words, and a month later you reached 50. I very nearly had to include "fat f&*@" on this list of your first 50 words, but they ended up being numbers 51 and 52. Thanks a lot, Tony Soprano. Sigh. Mommy has officially learned her lesson about saying nasty words.

Anyhow, without further ado, here is the list (not in chronological order):

1) Mommy
2) Daddy ("da-deeeee!")
3) clock ("cock," or "cockie")
4) Noni
5) Bubba
